Google has upgraded its web browser Chrome‘s stable version to16.0.912.77 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame.
This new version contains following security fixes:
- Use-after-free in DOM selections
- Use-after-free in Safe Browsing navigation
- Use-after-free in DOM handling
- Uninitialized value in Skia
- Heap-buffer-overflow in tree builder
What is New In This Release?
According to Google blog, Chrome 16 has some great improvements including enhancements to Sync and the ability to create multiple profiles on a single instance of Chrome.
Using this new Multiple User Profile Feature,many users can use the single instance of chrome with many Sync Profile option in “Personal Stuff” menu.
A badge in the upper corner lets you know at a glance that this new Chrome browser belongs to you, and you can customize the name and badge as you like. Clicking this badge drops down a menu of all the users on that computer, so you can easily switch between them
